State erased an early 14-point deficit in heavy snow. In overtime, Willie Blade blocked an extra point, Julius Griffith returned it for two and Wayne Madkin scored from six yards to finish a 43–41 classic.

Texas A&M used two early scores to take a 14–0 lead on the snow-covered field.
State forces overtime
Dontae Walker's 32-yard touchdown run helped the Bulldogs erase another late deficit and reach overtime tied at 35.
Eight points from one conversion try
Blade blocked the kick, Griffith returned it for two and Madkin's six-yard touchdown ended the night.
