Bulldogs close the challenge with a four set win
After splitting the first two sets, Mississippi State controlled the final two frames 25 to 13 and 25 to 18 to beat Northwestern 3 to 1. State hit .317 for the match and committed only 13 attack errors. Lindsey Mangelson led the Bulldogs with 17 kills. Bernardita Aguilar added 15 kills while hitting .364.
The second set could have changed the night. Instead, State came back with its clearest stretch of the match and did not need a fifth. The coaching lesson is not complicated: limiting attack errors lets your best swings count for more.
